[1] Plan It X is still on.
The tropical storm isn't supposed to hit until the morning time of
Thursday, so everything is still on for the fest.
We're meeting in Audubon Park at noon in the shelter on the Magazine
side across the street from the zoo. Bring food for the potluck,
water balloons to hurl, and water guns to shoot. Wear clothes you can
get wet and dirty in. If it rains, we can still play kickball in the
mud and throw our poo at each other.
At 4pm, we're going to start the workshops on silk screening or print
making or whatever at the Big Top (1638 Clio, a block off St. Charles,
just before Lee's Circle uptown).
At 6pm SHARP, we're going to start the live bands. Don't miss out.
It's only five bucks to see 12 amazing bands. I went to the fest in
Athens and Pensacola, and it's a hoot.
